Training & Speaking

Training That Addresses the Human Side of Violence Prevention.

Customized training and keynote presentations centered on human behavior, managing pressure, domestic violence prevention, survivor advocacy, accountability, and practical behavioral education.

Different audiences. Thoughtful education.

Our approach combines real-world experience with accessible education designed to increase understanding, encourage discussion, and support meaningful prevention. Programs are adapted to the audience, setting, and intended learning outcomes.

Survivors, survivor-support organizations, professionals, community groups, and people seeking voluntary behavioral education have different needs. A survivor-support professional training is not the same as an accountability program for individuals who have caused harm.

Training formats

Time for meaningful learning

90 minutes

Focused Awareness & Practical Education

An interactive introduction to a specific topic: survivor inclusion, coercive control, prevention, accountability, or human behavior under pressure. Facilitated discussion, examples, and exercises are adapted to the audience.

Appropriate audiences: Community organizations, survivor-support organizations, nonprofit agencies, professional development programs, educational institutions, and public awareness events.

4 hours

Deeper Understanding & Skill Development

Expanded discussion and applied learning on harmful patterns, pressure management, prevention, and practical skills. Scenario-based exercises and reflection are developed for the setting.

Appropriate audiences: Survivor advocacy organizations, social services, behavioral health providers, educational institutions, public safety support professionals, staff development, and appropriate voluntary education groups.

8 hours

Comprehensive Education & Applied Learning

Case-based learning, facilitated discussion, structured reflection, and prevention planning support more informed individual and organizational responses. Content is tailored to the audience, not delivered as a single program for every population.

Appropriate audiences: Nonprofits, survivor-support agencies, behavioral health organizations, educational institutions, public safety and crisis-related groups, organizational development, and voluntary accountability groups.

These formats provide education, not clinical or specialized offender treatment. Ninety minutes is an introduction—not a complete offender behavior-change program. A day of training does not guarantee lasting behavioral change. Topics are adapted; not every topic is appropriate for every population.

60-minute keynote presentations

Conversations That Challenge Assumptions and Expand Understanding.

Engaging, substantive presentations invite audiences to examine domestic violence, human behavior, prevention, accountability, and the experiences of survivors—without generic motivational promises.

Survivor-focused keynotes

For domestic violence survivors, survivor support groups and communities, survivor advocacy organizations, male survivor organizations, LGBTQIA+ advocacy organizations, and women's and family support organizations.

  • LGBTQIA+ survivor experiences.
